The Thai government approved Smart Visa, for business professionals today. It'll be a significant boost for Thailand as a Nomad hub, as it'll encourage more Digital Nomads and assist them
remain for longer durations than 3 months. They've currently restricted the applicants to startup company owners, investors, large leveled executives, along with other highly trained professionals. A work permit will not be mandatory with this Smart Visa. As opposed to reporting to government every 90 days now Smart Visa, holders will only need to report to the Immigration Bureau every one year. This visa may also extend to family members.
